Troubled Seas or Calm Sailing
Good Morning,
Isaiah 57:20-21, "...the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt. [21] There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked."
The ocean is a great sight to behold and a blessing to visit. However, I have been disappointed on more than one occasion when arriving at the beach only to find it littered with things that had been cast upon it by some strong storm. It wasn't beautiful and it didn't minister to my soul the way it normally does.
People who don't know the Lord as their Saviour or who are living outside the will of God are like the troubled sea. It doesn't find rest and the waters are muddied with mire and dirt.
I'm thankful for the ministry of the Word of God and Holy Spirit. Daily I receive peace from both as I am reminded of God's promises for us about His daily provision and future bliss. I get to navigate through life with the Lord's guidance, protection and provision. I also am able to rejoice in the fact that my future is in Heaven.
May we thank God for the peace that is ours. And may we do what we can to tell others about the salvation God offers them through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. They can then enjoy the same blessings that we do.
Have a great day rejoicing in the Lord and serving Him.
Your Friend in HIM,
