There Are Brighter Days Ahead! (Literally)

Good Morning,

Isaiah 60:19, "The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory."

Isn't it nice when you go through a day and it seems like everything just falls into place.  You were filled with a good attitude and you felt good physically with great energy for the day.

As we know the Lord is our strength, our guide, our protector, our provider.  However, one day we will live in His very presence and realize fully the great glory that is His and the blessings that He has provided us. Barnes states, " The language here is exceedingly beautiful, and the idea is plain. It is designed to foretell the great glory which would exist in the church under the Messiah; a glory compared with which all that is furnished by the sun, moon, and stars would be as nothing."  The light from God and the reality of truth will be overwhelmingly apparent and received.  Revelation 21:23 and 22:5 speak in these terms:  (21:23) "And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof." This city is the New Jerusalem. (22:5) "And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever."

I can't wait to be a participant in God's future plans for us.  We serve an AWESOME GOD who loves us supremely!  Brighter days are coming; literally.

Have a good day rejoicing in the Lord.

Your Friend in HIM,
