Good Morning, 

2 Corinthians 4:3-4, "But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them."

Paul describes himself in chapter 3:6, as one among multiple "...able ministers of the new testament, not of the letter, but of the spirit..." Then in chapter 4:1, he states, "Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not:"  As one reads the accounts concerning Paul's life and ministry, his ministry is characterized by an overwhelming desire to preach the Gospel.  He spoke of the saving grace of Christ everywhere he went, the Gospel of Christ was never hidden by Paul, because if it were to be hidden, it was hidden from those who are lost.  "Lost" in the context of 2 Corinthians 4:3, is a word used to emphasize that a person is fully destroyed and abolished, not one who can't be found.  The word translated "lost" in verse 3 is the same word translated "perish" in 1 Corinthians 1:18.

Satan, as the god of this world, has blinded the minds of them which believe not.  Why? In order to keep unbelievers on a path of destruction.  The only way we can expect anyone to ever trust Christ is for the Gospel of Christ to be presented to them.  If the Gospel were to be presented clearly, they could be delivered from their perishing condition.  Notice verse 4, "...lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them."  The Christian is responsible for sharing the Gospel to those who are lost.  To not do so, is for us to accept the lost condition of people, who are perishing without Christ.  And for me, that just isn't acceptable!

Let share the Gospel with those who are lost, with the same zeal and determination of the Apostle Paul.
