Proverbs 31:10, "Who can find a virtuous woman?  for her price is far above rubies."

 It is difficult for me to overlook this verse when reading Proverbs 31.  Every married man knows how his wife can either make or break him.  Marriage is one of three God ordained institutions - the other two are - the local church and human government. 

Virtue speaks of character that is excellent, especially in the area of morality.  I just want to list some of the items in this passage that demonstrate the value of virtue residing in a virtuous woman.

·  A virtuous woman helps her husband rather than hurting him - vs. 11-12.

·  She is adorned with strength and honor - vs. 25

·  Her words are well chosen - vs. 26

·  She is industrious rather than being idle or lazy - vs. 27

·  Others will take notice of her resulting in praise being directed toward her - vs. 28-31

 Men, consistently encourage and strengthen your wife and aide her in the pursuit of virtue.  "...He that loveth his wife loveth himself." (Ephesians 5:28)   A woman who understands her greatest role is to be a help meet to her husband and to make him successful, her price is far above rubies.
