Created for His Praise

Isaiah 43:6(b)-7, and 21, "...bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth; Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him. This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise."

I thank God I heard His voice as He called me to salvation.  Romans 8:28-30, "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover, whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified."

Our salvation comes with two great purposes.  One is to redeem us from our sins, the other is that we might bring pleasure and praise to God.  You see God formed me to bring glory and praise to Him.  I'm honored and so are you.  God saved me to bring Him glory.

Are we bringing glory to the Lord through our lives?  Are we living to bring Him praise? If not, we are failing to fulfill one of God's great purposes in salvation.

Revelation 4:11, "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created."  God created us for His pleasure.  Don't miss His purpose in saving your soul.

Have a joyful day in Christ!

MEDITATIONS

1. What are God’s two great purposes in salvation?

2. Have you identified God’s specific purpose for your life? Are you living to glorify Him?

3. According to Revelation 4:11 why did God create you? How should one live to make his life pleasing to the Lord?
