Payday Some Day
Hosea 9:7, "The days of visitation are come, the days of recompense are come; Israel shall know it: the prophet is a fool, the spiritual man is mad, for the multitude of thine iniquity, and the great hatred."
God speaks clearly of that which Israel is about to experience: "Israel shall know..." God was about to pour out His wrath and punishment upon this nation which once walked in obedience to Him. The word "visitation" speaks of God coming to them to punish them for their ongoing sinful lifestyle. The days of recompense are come...
Those who were called to speak the truth of God are described as being fools and mad or crazy. Some prophets will speak the truth and be perceived as being foolish and crazy, while others will not speak the truth for fear of being criticized, and their compromise makes them foolish and mad.
America will face God one day in judgment, and you must believe it is sooner rather than later. It could easily be said of us, "The days of visitation are come; the days of recompense are come..." God's judgments are true and righteous altogether. May those who know the Lord walk in obedience to Him, worship Him, and serve Him faithfully all their days.
