THE CHRISTIAN'S FELLOWSHIP ON EARTH
Read Colossians 4:7-18
The remainder of the book of Colossians speaks of the earthly relationships that Paul the Apostle had established during his sojourn here on earth. Paul mentions ten individuals and the church in Laodicea, as well as writing to the Colossians. We are all influenced by earthly relationships, they influence us either for good or for bad. Allow Paul’s words in these relationships to impact your heart as you sojourn here on earth.
“All my state shall Tychicus declare unto you, who is a beloved brother, and a faithful minister and fellowservant in the Lord:” (Colossians 4:7).
Notice three truths about Tychicus according to Paul’s experiences with him:
Tychicus was a beloved brother. Throughout one’s life we encounter people who are believers, and they are beloved. Thank you, God for many beloved relationships.
Tychicus was a faithful minister. What a testimony! Tychicus was a faithful servant of Jesus Christ. Are you a faithful servant of Jesus Christ?
Tychicus was a fellowservant in the Lord. Multiple people choose to serve the Lord together. They become fellowservants. Who do you labor with for the cause of Jesus Christ?
Read the entire passage to learn of the other earthly relationships that Paul was blessed with during his lifetime. I thank God for each of you.
