Dr. Mike Abbott - Senior Pastor

Dr. Abbott became the Senior Pastor of Brownsburg Baptist Church in March 1994, and has been in full time ministry since February 1977.

Pastor Abbott is married to Diana Ryan Abbott, and they enjoy serving the Lord together in ministry.  Pastor Abbott’s ministry is characterized by his desire to lead people to Christ, and to disciple them to grow in a vibrant and fruitful walk with the Lord Jesus.

Pastor’s approach to ministry is expressed in his faithful preaching, visitation, and love for others.  His ultimate desire is to glorify the Lord in every endeavor of life.

 Alex Schroeder - Assistant Pastor

Alex came to Brownsburg Baptist in April 0f 2022. His duties include leading the Young Adult, Family, and Music ministries of the church. A graduate of Providence Baptist College in 2013 and ordained in 2019, Alex and his wife, Sarah, have served faithfully in Christian school and church ministries, working bus routes for 10+ years, leading teen soul-winning ministries, teaching and serving in short term missions trips.

God has given Alex a great desire to see young people come to Christ and a vision to see every generation doing its part to reach future generations. Alex and Sarah have three children, Jackson, Flynn and Aria.
