What Do You Value?

Good Morning,

Psalm 84:10, "For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a door-keeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness."

The Psalmist speaks clearly of what he values. Many people don't know the Lord Jesus as Saviour, and choose to live lives of wickedness. This is understandable because they don't know the Lord. What isn't understandable is how people who claim salvation living in a manner that minimizes the importance of God and His church. The Psalmist through His statement demonstrates the great place God has in his heart. A DAY IN THY COURTS IS BETTER THAN A THOUSAND. What he is stating is One Day in God's Courts is better than 1000 days without God or 1000 days lived where God isn't valued or important.

Notice the heart of the Psalmist for God and His house, "How amiable are thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts! 2 My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORDmy heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God3 Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God. 4 Blessed are they that dwell in thy housethey will be still praising thee. Selah."

People choose what they want, but as for me give me God and His house.  Make sure not to stay away from God's House.  If the doors are open, you should desire to be there.

Have a great day!
