Do You Have Peace?

Isaiah 48:22, "There is no peace, saith the LORD, unto the wicked."

Peace is promised to those who walk rightly with Jesus Christ.  As a matter of fact the promise is given in Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." To those who walk rightly with God and pray God promises this kind of peace.  This, as we know, is not some manufactured peace, no it is a peace that only comes from God.  Peace is the third fruit listed as originating from the Holy Spirit.

God stated earlier in today's chapter, "O that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments!  then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea: Thy seed also had been as the sand, and the offspring of thy bowels like the gravel thereof; his name should not have been cut off nor destroyed from before me." (Isaiah 48:18-19)

How's your peace today?  Walking rightly before God brings peace, but the promise rings loud and clear to those walking in disobedience, "There is no peace, saith the LORD, unto the wicked."

May we live today walking in God's peace.

Have a joyful day in Christ.
