WASHED CLEAN BY THE BLOOD

Revelation 7:14, "...These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb." Scripture states in Hebrews 9:22, "...without shedding of blood is no remission."

Scripture speaks of a group of people who came through the great tribulation. They were washed by the blood of the Lamb, just like we are washed by the blood of the Lamb. People want to minimize the redemptive work of Christ in this day and age. However, "...without shedding of blood (there) is no remission."  Italics mine

Throughout all of human history, people have been redeemed the same way. The Old Testament believer looked forward to the coming of the Messiah. We look back on His finished work. Luke 19:10, "For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost." May we be grateful for the redemptive work of Christ in our lives, and may we be sure to tell others the blessed truth that Jesus saves.

"In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace." Ephesians 1:7  Be sure to praise God today for His offer of eternal life through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, and take time to share the blessed Gospel with some lost soul today.  Someone once said, "Every saved person this side of Heaven owes the Gospel to every lost person this side of Hell."
