OUR SECURE FUTURE

READ 1 Thessalonians 3:11-13

Allow the beauty of these verses to permeate your heart today.  “Now God Himself and our Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way unto you. 12And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you: 13To the end He may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.”

The life of every believer is secure in Christ.  Christ, at His coming is going to present us “unblameable in holiness before God…”  The word unblameable speaks of being blameless, free from fault or defect, deserving no censure.

Every believer will be transformed to be like Christ according to 1 John 3:2, “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.”

Jude 24 states, “Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy.”

Ephesians 5:25-27, “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave Himself for it; 26That He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27That He might present it to Himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.”

God provides us with the foundation of Christ and the Bible, the fellowship of believers, and a promise for our future in Heaven

G. Campbell Morgan said, ''I believe the promises of God enough to venture an eternity on them.''

Robert Murray McCheyne wrote, ''If I could hear Christ praying for me in the next room, I would not fear a million enemies. Yet distance makes no difference. He is praying for me: 'He ever lives to make intercession.'''

We have everything we need to “stand fast.” May we stand up for Jesus looking forward to our future Heavenly redemption.
