Blessed By His Presence
Exodus 29:45, "And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their God."
Everything we are reading today is about the garments of the priest, and the layout of the tabernacle. These things are all reminders of the the Holiness of God, and His presence among His people. We have the same blessing as God's children today. We are blessed by His presence as well as His temple.
Notice what the New Testament says:
1 Corinthians 3:16, "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?"
1 Corinthians 6:19, "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?"
1 Peter 2:9-10, "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: 10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.”
I know we are all glad for God's presence in our lives. It is indeed a great blessing!
