Revelation 11:15, "...The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign forever and ever."  

As a result of the fall of man, Satan was given authority over the kingdoms of this world. This world and its governing systems are corrupt and ruled by Satan.  ​

It certainly seems like many world rulers are under the authority of Satan himself.  ​ Scripture in John chapters 12, 14, and 16; refer to Satan as "the prince of this world." And Ephesians 2:2 declares, "Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:" Satan offers Jesus the kingdoms of the world in Matthew 4, "Again, the devil taketh him (Jesus) up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee if thou wilt fall down and worship me" (Matt. 4:8-9). 

Every believer has been delivered from the authority of Satan because we have been translated into the kingdom of God's dear Son. "Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of ​the saints in light:  Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son." (Colossians 1:12-​13​).  

Our verse in Revelation 11:15, speaks of the snatching away of these kingdoms from the authority of Satan and transferring them to the authority and rule of Jesus Christ. Hallelujah, what a day that will be!!!!! ​

I trust we can all rejoice because of the direction in which we are heading. I'm LOOKING UP!!!  Oh yes, this world is filled with wickedness and darkness, but it will one day be judged and converted to the authority of our dear Saviour. What a glorious day that will be!
